Looking Instructor, Foundational Skills For UCEP Bangladesh

Job Purpose: 

To teach and educate students following the EDUCIB curriculum (an abridged curriculum of NCTB, BTEB and NTVQF) under the overall guidance of the competent education authority in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, goals,s and relevant country laws.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure enrollment target (Including 50% girls, 5% PWDs, 3% Ethnic groups), regular attendance (90%,) and assist the Centre in charge of Team Leader-Training and Education for the teaching-learning process.

• Ensure effective classroom teaching following syllabus and lesson plan.

• Ensure the targeted pass rate (90% with 5% GPA 5) of respective subjects, result analysis of each exam, written action plan for the weaker students, and ensured its implementation.

• Ensure the teaching-learning environment in the classroom (cleanness, special attention to slow learners, use of appropriate teaching aids including digital content).

• Provide psychosocial counseling to students (at least 90%of  students) to reduce mental stress so that they cope with this emergency.

• Communicate with parents (at least 70%) for ensuring awareness and safety against COVID-19 and ensuring wearing masks, maintaining social distance,g, etc., and preventing child labor, child marriage, and different kinds of abuse.

• Developing different event plans (at least 5 events/year) for the celebration of different days and ensuring their implementation including ensuring participation in virtual and physical.

• Planning and organizing the special education model (for all classes and all students) and playing a key role in providing guidance to implement this model.

• Contribute to the developed school operational plan and ensure its implementation.

• Maintain and store the classroom equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies properly.

• To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor as and when necessary.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry will be given preference).

• B.Ed/M.Ed degree will get preference.

• Teaching experiences in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry will be given preference.

• Proficient in MS Office package.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Skills in online platforms and developing digital content.

• Track record in working with curriculum and learning materials development.

• NTRCA certification would be added advantage.

• Good track record in performance appraisal. 

• Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on

qualifications.

Salary: Monthly BDT. 20,000/- (Consolidated)

Compensation & Benefits: As per organizational policy.
